Written on a break while I was composing my Adagio Lamentoso, “Farewell” is a simple work for string orchestra, contralto, and choir, written in a “film music” style.

Although being an unpretentious piece, it gave me great pleasure to write!

I was looking for simple music that would deliver the feeling of departure (hence the chosen title) and, in my opinion, the themes presented worked very well.
